Once you've installed the app and completed the set up wizard here is a quick list of things to check before you're ready to go live.

NOTE: A message will appear in the Dashboard when you have finished the minimum requires to Start Selling on eBay. Click the 'Start Selling' link to push products up to eBay.

Out of Stock Flag (in eBay)

Your 'Out Of Stock' preference must be set to 'Yes' in eBay so your listings do NOT end.

To set your Out of Stock flag to 'Yes' go to https://my.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyeBay&CurrentPage=MyeBayPreferences&gbh=1&ssPageName=STRK:ME:LNLK

Listing Products

Choose which products you want to list on eBay by choosing an eBay Category for them. See Category Mapping.

If there are products you don't want to sell on eBay, there are a number of blocking and excluding features, see Blocking Products

Shipping

During set up, you will have created a 'basic' shipping policy as the default. However, there are many different options when it comes to shipping on eBay. Go to 'Settings - eBay Australia - Shipping' to set up additional shipping policies using product groups. More information is available in Shipping.

Product Listing Template

eBay LINK has a default Product Listing Template and content such as your logo and shipping was added to this during the set up wizard. If you would like to make changes to it, go to 'Settings - eBay Australia - Product Listing Template'.

Stock Buffer

Whilst we do everything we can to keep your products on eBay in sync with your ecommerce store, we do recommend a Stock Buffer. Go to 'Settings - Administration' to set one up.

Prices on eBay

If you want a different price on eBay to your ecommerce platform, you can set up a promotion. Go to 'Promotions' in the left navigation menu.

Product Titles

You can optimise your Product Titles for eBay's search algorithm.

Orders

If you have recent orders on eBay prior to installing the eBayLink app and do not want to import orders before a certain date go to 'Settings - eBay Australia - Configuration' and input a date into the 'Do not import orders before this date' section under Your Orders
